Raise the Roof

Yay to Summer.
Yay to San Francisco.
Yay to rooftops, friends, beer, Smirnoff Ice, and a special local holiday we call
Gay Pride.

the best part of this whole rooftop shindig is that i thought we would be able to celebrate and watch the Pride Parade. little did i know, it didn't go by Guerrerro and Market. it doesn't got to the Castro at all. it is downtown for some reason, leaving me and all my excitement for nudity, costumes, techno, feather boas, free love, and chaps to have to wait for the Folsom St. Fair.
shit, did i miss that too???

jeremey very disappointed.

the closest thing we got to Gay Fun was this truck that had techno, bubbles, and a couple of pairs of lamé hot shorts circling the block four times. everytime i heard them come by i thought the parade was on it's way. but no, just the truck.

maegan disappointed.

all in all, a good time was had.

Time to Ketchup

so things have been going well over here at She-bible headquarters. we've got new stores, some new press (WWD and Apparel News), and are producing Fall 2006 while starting to wrap our heads around Spring 2007. things are moving along!!!

Like all good girls filled with pure evil and black hearts, i celebrated 6.06.06 with the Omen and a night of black metal. Thank you Lethal Ethan for the slaying my soul with your musical swords of blood.

went to see Colossal Yes at the MakeOut Room on wednesday night. if you haven't seen sir utrillo and friends, please please do. you can check out his myspace page here: http://www.myspace.com/colossalyesrock

and from the weekend of Joe the Toe, here are some photos of the wedding before my camera died.

Joe the Toe and the Big Blue Correctional Shoe

Avoid hot tubbing late night with these clowns. Especially the night before a fancy wedding.

There is a reason there is no glass allowed near the pool and there is a reason the pool closes at 10.

My pretty cut goes in far between the toes and may have cut a mighty little tendon. i'll find out next week if i still can't bend joe the toe. in the meantime, the blue shoe will complete my outfits.

A few wedding photos to follow. my camera ran outta batteries at the beginning, but i did capture the beautiful bride and knockout bridesmaids. Holy Smokes.
