Took the train to visit the folks over the weekend. Moms turned 62, which reminded pops and i that we are turning 70 and 30. i think we are all ready to embrace it as a family - this whole aging thing.

Spring Flingin' It

So we shot our Spring 2006 line on Saturday. (That means it's gonna be on the website real soon!)
Sarita was a real trooper, or better yet SUPA model. She came over thinking only some pieces we being shot, but when she got here we ambushed her with the entire line to shoot in a few hours. As always, thanks lady friend.

Also, a big thank you to Deirdre for lending her lovely home and Mother Nature for not raining on our parade.

well my blog hasn't been letting me update it for a little while. kind of annoying but it's working again.
too bad i'm too exhausted to really say anything.

rain rain go away

i am so sick of this schizophrenic weather. rain hail sun lightning sun rain hail SNOW in marin.
i look at my weather widget every morning and night, but it can't predict this shit. so it's says rain everyday, even though it may be lovely out all day and at 8 pm it goes right into hail. all i want is a little consistency. come on.

so yesterday, deirdre and i were graced with the presence of a photographer for the Oakland Tribune. they are doing a story on 5 clothing companys in SF and their Spring wares. we tried to put on our best supa model attitude but just kept laughing. deirdre and i have never taken a good photo together. we are jinxed. one of us will look good and the other has their eyes half shut in mid smile. the photographer made us take some photos solo as if we were working.





Lady Date has now moved on to Americas Next Top Model. to celebrate we had margaritas and pina coladas and tamale pie.




here Ryan preps his salsa. we had about 5 different kinds, but his was the best. secret ingredient? nectarines.

after ending the evening am with Pina Ritas at 12:30am and some real obnoxious behaviour, it sad to say those drinks have now been banned from future Lady Dates. :(
it really is for the best though.
