Cuz, it's yo birthday!

So two of my little cousins just turned 1 over the weekend.
They are the new gems of the family - absolutely adored and stealing all my thunder. I am so yesterdays news.
So a huge family rager was thrown for them on Sunday. This included a Jumpy Castle for god knows how many kids i didn't even know were in my family, more than half i'd never met, much less seen. Of course someone HAD to ask my mom if she had any grandchildren at the party - and with her sad little face, she looks over at me and say "no". I just smiled and cheered my beer their direction.

Anyway - this is my little cuz Miles. To me he looks like Michael Douglas in Wall Street and he has the smallest legs i've ever seen on a kid. No babyfat - what?

And here's Miss Maddy Rue. She's kinda the superstar of the family because there hasn't been a girl baby in a long long time and she has 4 crazy aunties that want to constantly dress her up as a princess, hence her birthday hat.

Thank god someone managed to find lil' Miles a crown.

My folks.

I gave Maddy Rue some of my beer. She liked it way too much, therefore proving she really is a part of our family.

Sunday was also the final day of filming for the Bad Date zombie movie. I got there too late to shoot any scenes, but just in time to help these two hotties load up their car.

And last but not least, i just want to give a shout out to my homegirl Deirdre who, on Saturday, graduated from USF Grad School. She now has a master, which in my book makes her a Master - so bow down!!!!!

Video Shoot Part 2

The second and last shoot for our little video took place last Saturday (7/8).
Despite my nerves making me a little crazy and Rock n Shop being that same evening all went well and i can't wait to see the end result.
Big thanks to Sadie, Pie, Karen, Sarita, Nicole, Dustin, Tracy, Gina, Alison, and Erika for being such good sports and making this process so fun.

Video Killed the Radio Star

the newest of new news is...
She-bible is making a video!!!!
we would have never even thought to do something like this, but our wonderful friend Sadie brought the idea to us and how could we resist.
we did two days of shooting and the total length will be about 2 minutes and showing our Fall 2006 line. so far this process has been so exciting and we have a grip of people to thank - most importantly Miss Sadie herself.
of course we also have to give big props to Sarita for going along for the ride and looking so beautiful.
i don't want to say to much about it, so i'll just share with you some photos from our first day of shooting:

photos from the second shoot coming soon.

Raise the Roof

Yay to Summer.
Yay to San Francisco.
Yay to rooftops, friends, beer, Smirnoff Ice, and a special local holiday we call
Gay Pride.

the best part of this whole rooftop shindig is that i thought we would be able to celebrate and watch the Pride Parade. little did i know, it didn't go by Guerrerro and Market. it doesn't got to the Castro at all. it is downtown for some reason, leaving me and all my excitement for nudity, costumes, techno, feather boas, free love, and chaps to have to wait for the Folsom St. Fair.
shit, did i miss that too???

jeremey very disappointed.

the closest thing we got to Gay Fun was this truck that had techno, bubbles, and a couple of pairs of lamé hot shorts circling the block four times. everytime i heard them come by i thought the parade was on it's way. but no, just the truck.

maegan disappointed.

all in all, a good time was had.
